This privacy policy explains how OpenDash handles data. The short version: OpenDash is a local CLI tool that talks directly to AI providers you configure. We don't collect, store, or see your data.
OpenDash is free, open-source software that runs on your local machine. It is not a hosted service. When you use OpenDash, your prompts, files, and queries go directly from your terminal to the AI provider you configured (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Google). OpenDash does not proxy, store, or intercept this traffic.
API keys belong to you. They are stored locally on your machine in your configuration directory. OpenDash uses them only to communicate directly with your chosen AI provider. We never see, transmit, or store your API keys on any server we control.
The OpenDash website (opendash-ai.vercel.app) is a static site. It does not use cookies, does not track visitors, and does not collect personal information. If you send us an email, we'll use it only to respond to your message.
OpenDash is open-source. You can audit the code yourself at github.com/jagbiryadav/opendash. We encourage you to read the source code and verify our privacy claims.
When you use OpenDash with an AI provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), your data is subject to that provider's privacy policy. OpenDash does not modify or override the privacy terms of your chosen provider.
If we make changes to this policy, we'll update the date above and post the changes on GitHub. Since OpenDash is open-source, you can always check the source code to see exactly what data flows through the tool.
